Special Report on Utah’s snowpack conditions: NEW RECORD STATEWIDE SNOWPACK!

The purpose of this Special Report is to highlight that as of today we have broken the record for statewide snowpack measured at our SNOTEL sites. Considering manual measurements at snow courses that preceded the SNOTEL system, this year’s snowpack now has the largest amount of snow water equivalent since the winter of 1952, making this the best snowpack we’ve had in Utah in more than 70 years. Very exciting!
